Maldivian 12 year old duo, Mohamed Uwaish and Ahmed Zahaan Nazeer has departed for the "Football For Friendship" program in Russia.

The event is held in Moscow where the Maldivian youngsters will join kids from over 210 countries. Uwaish selected as a defender will play in the Gazprom Football For Friendship International Championship for "Whale Shark" team and will undergo a 3 day training camp before the tournament. Zahaan will act as a journalist covering all the activities of the program in the International Children's Press Center. the duo will also participate in the 6th Football For Friendship International Forum in Russia and will participate in the Nine Values School Program. in addition, they will also participate in workshops and sessions conducted by celebrities.
