Mohamed Arif (baka) has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a eye injury while Maziya's center-back Amdhan Ali (Andy) has resumed training after suffering a Knee ligament injury that forced the Maziya defender to stay in the side lines for a long time due to undergoing the surgery.

Andy had the surgery done in ADK hospital by well known Orthopedic surgeon Dr Hussain Shakeel. The Maldives international target striker is close to full fitness.

Andy returns much to the delight to Maziya gaffer Ismail Mahfooz (Imma) as his side has been forced to deal with the departure of tow of their most important defensive players. Italian goalie Mauro and Serbian rock solid defender Milos fell out with the club hierarchy.

It is believed that Amdhan will be match fit in time for Dhivehi league. The center-back missed important games for Maziya during last years Dhivehi league along with captain Asadulla.

Meanwhile high flying Eagles who have few experienced players in their rank see Midfield maestro Arif stay in the sidelines. Arif suffered a blow to his eye during Eagles match against New Radiant.

Airf clashed with New Radiant full back Ahmed Abdulla that sees the midfielder suffer fracture in his left eye bone. He is due to receive future medical treatment in Colombo and Mohamed Shiyaz will be delighted to know that his experienced midfielder will be fit in time for the big kick-off for the Dhivehi league.
