Victory and TC Settle for a draw

Victory Sports Club and TC Sports Club has settled to a draw of 1-1 in their last game of Male League.

TC secure the fourth with the draw as both Victory and TC have 20 points from 14 games. Victory drops to the fifth by goal difference. TC had the first chance to take the lead after a mistake in the defence by Saddam Hussain. Ibrahim Mahudhy's shot was stopped by Abdulla Ziyazan who was given an opportunity to play in the first eleven. TC took the lead in the 24th minute after Ibrahim Waheed's cross was netted in by Ibrahim Mahudhy. TC has an opportunity to double their lead 3 minutes after the goal. Hassan Solah's shot hit the cross bar denying TC to take a breath early in the game.

Victory's equalizer was scored in the 40th minute by Simon Tibo, which was a free kick just outside the box leaving TC's goal keeper Ibrahim Nadheem starring at the ball as it went in. The first half came to a close with both teams hungry to score another goal.

Victory started attacking after the referee's whistle and created the first chance of the half which was a header by Saddam. Nadheem easily stopped the attack and also denied Ahmed Nashid (Naattey)'s shot. TC also started attacking as Mohamed Ishan opened up space for a shot which was blocked by Victory's defence. Both teams gave it all to find a second goal but the match ended with one goal each.
