Runner-up of Second Division 2018, JJ Sports Club has decided not to participate in the relegation play-off against United Victory and Club Valencia.

As per the plan of FAM, Second Division winners will be promoted to the Male League and the runner up will play the relegation battle to secure the final spot of Male League 2019. According to our sources, JJ had formally informed FAM on 14th June 2018 that they will not be playing in the relegation play-off and as a result, UV and Valencia will fight for the final spot of Male League 2019. Da G.A.N.G being crowned as the champions of Second Division 2018 has already secured a spot in the Male League next year.

With only two teams to fight the relegation battle, UV and Valencia will face each other on both legs of the play-off and the winner will secure the final spot of Male League 2019. Valencia and UV faced twice in Male League this year which was won on the first occasion by UV and the other by Valencia. The first match of the play-off is scheduled to be played on 26th June 2018 while the final leg of the play-off is scheduled to be played on 1st July 2018.
