One of the most promising young goalkeepers of Maldives, Ibrahim Labaan Shareef comes back to football after three long years and signed for Club Green Streets.

Labaan has signed for Green Streets on a long term contract after three years set back. He was involved in the Mayday incident which lead him to reset his career at a young age. At that time, he was the number one goal keeper to Saanthi's side at Eagles. After he was arrested, Eagles replaced him with Sri Lanka's number one goal keeper SUjan Pereira.

Labaan was first recognized at the age of 16 when he played Inter-school tournament in 2012 and was given the opportunity to play for New Radiant senior team. He played for Dharumavantha School U18 team that lifted the championship trophy. Labaan played a huge role as a goalkeeper for his school in that tournamnet and as a result he got on one of the biggest clubs, New Radiant's radar. He had also played for the national junior team that competed in U16 SAFF Championship in 2016.

Club Green Streets guided by coach Ali Suzain finished Male League in sixth place and is strengthening the team for the Premier League. Green's goals were protected by Sergi Smorodin and Mohamed Jazlaan through out the Male League and now Labaan has joined the race for the number one goal keeper of Club Green Street.
