Oggy's last minute strike denies Thimarafushi in today's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League class. The Minivan Championship Champions Thimarafushi and the runners-up Foakaidhoo settled for a draw after late drama.

Foakaidhoo, favorites to win this game started the game slow. The first half was headed for a boring draw until Oggy (Mohamed Jailam) scored from a cross from Kahraba (Mustafa Mahmud).

Foakaidhoo started to dominate in the second half, showing glimpses of their style that was played in their last two games. Opportunites were missed, including a sitter for Khalil Gamal from a Kahraba freekick.

Ahmed Mauroof gave Thimarafushi the much needed equalizer with an excellent counter attack. Foakaidhoo pushed on trying to find the winner only to fall to another Thimarafushi goal. Episan Kouassi scored to the far post of Foakaidhoo keeper Saqib Haneef on the counter attack.

It looked like Thimarafushi had won the first game of the season when Ramos (Mahmud Sayed) the center back who pushed up as target striker for a last ditch effort, headed the ball to Oggy, who blasted home. The young Maldivian International has scored his first senior level goals in the National Stadium and was awarded the man of the match.
