The Football Association of Maldives has announced a basic referee's course to be conducted on the 1st of October 2018.

The Association is targeting youth, ages between 18 to 25 to take part in this course. The course is open to all those who are interested in this age group. There is no pre-requisite for this course. All those who are interested, weather male or female is encouraged to submit the necessary documents the 30th of August 2018. The application forms can be collected from the Football Association office at working hours (0900 hours to 1600 hours). A course fee of MVR 1500 will be collected from the participants. 

Recently FA has conducted two programs for referees including one for school children. In the FAM Fun Fiesta 2018 hosted by BG Academy last Friday, these junior referee's were given a chance to showcase their skills.
