Indian football team has traveled to Sydney, Australia in preparation for SAFF Suzuki Cup.

India's coach Stephen Constantine has selected their under-23 team for the SAFF Suzuki Cup this year. "It's a group of talented youngsters and I believe a good number of players will graduate to the senior team in time" Constantine said talking about his team. The 22 men squad will camp in Sydney for till September 1st when they will depart to Dhaka to compete in SAFF Cup. 

The team already in camp in Delhi since late July, wanted to compete in the Asian Games, due to circumstances, they will now prepare themselves in Sydney. India is the strongest nation in the SAFF region although this yeah they are sending their under-23's, they are still the favorites.

India is group B with Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
