Bangladesh stuns Qatar in Asian games group stages.

Jamal Bhuiyan scored the only goal of the game deep into stoppage time to give Bangladesh a historic win. 

Bangladesh having lost to 0-3 to Uzbekistan, recovered drawing with Thailand 1-1. This win give them 4 points and qualifies Bangladesh to the round of 16 for the first time.

Bangladesh will be hosting the SAFF Suzuki cup early next month. Bangladesh will play against Bhutan on the 4th of September. In group A with Bhutan, Pakistan and Nepal.
