New Radiant stuns Maziya in today's under 19 Championship clash between the sides.

last year's finalists Maziya fell to an early game stunner by Yazdhan Ibrahim of New Radiant. The result sees Maziya drop to the bottom of the table with 1 point. New Radiant with this win leaps over Green Streets to second position with 3points. Green Streets are third with 2 points from 2 draws. Defending champions Club Eagles top the lot with 4 points. 

Maziya will play Eagles on the 3rd while New Radiant will keep the pressure on Green Streets in the last clashes of the first round. After two rounds, the top 2 teams will play a Final Match to determine the first Under-19 Champions of Maldives. Eagles won the last 3 Youth Championships, which were under-21 team. This year the Football Association has changed the age group to under 19 as well as introducing a hugely popular under-13 league for the Academies.
