Eagles destroys a worn out Thimarafushi side 9-0 to move into the top four of the Premier League.

Hussain Sifau (Kuro) opened the scoring for Eagles in the 7th minute of the game. The Maldives International defender raced into the box and blasted the ball into the roof of the net for Eagles. Ahmed Rizvan was the most dangerous player on the night, The Maldives International scored four goals for Eagles. 

Kuro also added to his tally scoring another goal for Eagles in the 39th minute. Hassan Raif (Hanna) and Mohamed Naim also added to Thimarafushi's misery. Naim's brother Ahmed Numan (Helmet) completed the rout with Eagles 9th goal.

Eagles now move into the third place, behind league leaders TC and New Radiant. Eagles next game is against the high flying Foakaidhoo. Thimarafushi is stuck to the bottom of the table with only one point. The bottom two teams will not be playing in the second round of the league.
